What is Paintball?

Paintball is a combination of tag, hide & seek, and capture the flag. Each player is equipped with a paintball marker that shoots paintballs and the object of the game is to eleminate your opponents by "tagging" them with a paintball while attempting to capture the opposing team's flag. Paintball is recognized as one of the world's most exciting outdoor participation sports. Paintball is played by people from all walks of life. Women and men, both young and old, can compete equally. Physical size and strength are not as important as intelligence and determination as Paintball stresses tactics and teamwork.

Is Paintball Safe?

Statistics show that paintball is one of the safest sports around. Like all action sports though, following the safety rules is mandatory. Goggles must be worn at all times and Barrel Covers must be used when coming off the field or in the staging areas. Safety is our #1 concern. All players are provided with the latest safety gear and are given full instructions on safety regulations and game rules. All games are supervised by trained referees who strictly enforce the rules.

Does It Hurt When I Get Shot?

Being hit with a paintball is like getting hit with a tennis ball. Unlike a tennis ball, paintball pellets are designed to break open upon impact and therefore cause very little, if any, pain. The player will experience a slight stinging sensation that will go away within a few seconds. Many players are apprehensive about getting shot, but once the game begins and your adrenaline starts pumping, most people do not even feel a hit.

This Is My First Time Playing, Will I Be "Out-Gunned"?

No. Paintball is so popular due to the fact that it is easy to learn to play. Men and women, the young and the old alike can compete together equally because the key to winning is communication and team work. The ability to think and act under pressure is important, not an individual's size, strength, age or experience.

Can I Bring My Own Paintballs?

Yes as long as they are ECOFILL paintballs.

What Is The Minimum Age To Play?

The minimum age to play paintball is 10 years old. All players under the age of 18 require a Waiver Form to be signed by a parent or guardian before they can be allowed to enter the playing fields.

Do You Offer Birthday Party Packages?

Yes, we do have a special package available for birthday parties.

What Time Should I Arrive?

As these events are planned, it is recommended that you arrive at least 1/2 hour prior to our first game in order to complete sign-in and have equipment issued. Following sign-in, all players are given a short orientation on safety and rules, divided into teams, and the first game begins. Players may arrive at any time throughout the day. Upon receiving orientation, a player may then join the next game to be started.

How Long Do the Games Last?

Each game lasts a maximum of 15 minutes. A game ends when one team eliminates all opposing players or hangs the other teams flag. Depending upon how quickly a team accomplishes these goals, a game can be considerably shorter than 15 minutes in duration. You can be assured that you will play at least 20 (and usually more) games in a day.

Is The Field Indoor or Outdoor?

Outdoor sites are all we have planned. If an indoor site becomes available we will evaluate it at that time.

What Should I Wear?

You will be running, jumping, and crawling in an outdoor wooded area. Therefore it is recommended that you wear loose, comfortable clothing that you do not care if it gets dirty or torn. Camo fatigues, sweatshirts, and sweatpants are excellent choices. Dark colors are preferrable as you will be trying to conceal your location in your quest to eliminate your opponents. Comfortable footwear, such as hiking boots, sneakers, combat boots are advised. It is also a good idea to bring a pair of gloves to protect your hands. A bandana draped around the neck or neck protector should also be considered. Male participants are strongly encouraged to wear an athletic supporter with cup.

Do Paintballs Stain Clothing?

Paintballs are water-soluble, non-toxic, hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Any paint marks will wash out of your clothing in a normal wash cycle. Paint on your skin and hair will wash out easily during a shower.
